So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. Dearest loving Father in heaven, thank You for strengthening me with Your love today. Help me to be a blessing to those around me and show me creative ways to let my life overflow with thankfulness. I thank You for life. I thank You for breath. I thank You for provision, healing, strength and joy. Today I choose to put my faith in action by praising You throughout the day. Thank You for the gift of faith. I choose to believe Your Word which is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Show me how to continue to grow in faith so I can be pleasing to You in every area of my life. I choose to offer You continual praise. I choose to follow Your Word so that You may be glorified through me. Thank You for leading me into victory in every area of my life.
Righteous Father, I know that You know all about me. You know my wrong doing. I agree with You that I am guilty of so many things. I come now to confess that I need Your total forgiveness for all that I have done. I ask for a “do over.” Please Lord, create in me a pure heart. Please, renew a right spirit in me. I come to You for a fresh start. As I read Your word, help it sink deep into my heart. Help me hear You and really understand how You want me to live. Thank you for knowing how it feels to be unsupported and rejected. Thank you for being with us as we go through the challenges and disappointments. Inspire me, guide me and empower me by Your word I pray.
Help me to be obedient to the commandments that You have so clearly given me. May my family join me in living our lives honoring You in all we do. Take my life and use it to Your will, Father. If I can be the instrument that leads someone to You, then don’t hesitate to bring me into service. Let me give to others a portion of what You have given to me. Lord, please give us strength to endure, courage to stand firm in the face of opposition, and wisdom about how best to lead the Christian life. Surround us with those who will love us, support us, and tell us the truth we may not want to hear about ourselves. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen

It is the burning lava of the soul that has a furnace within—a very volcano of grief and sorrow–it is that burning lava of prayer that finds its way to God. No prayer ever reaches God’s heart which does not come from our hearts.
