Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Colossians 3:12-13 (NLT)
Dearest loving Father, today I am on the lookout for Your goodness. I honor and thank You for Your love. I praise You because You are faithful and glorify You in everything I do. Thank You for Your protection. Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. I acknowledge Your name. I acknowledge Your love and thank You for Your goodness in every area of my life. I come now to freely receive what You so freely offer. I ask to be filled with Your grace, mercy and peace. Make me so conscious of these gifts that my heart overflows with praise and thanksgiving and my life reflects the joy of this reality.
Dear Father, thank you, for redeeming us from sin and death through Christ. You have indeed redeemed us from slavery to sin and death, leading us into new life. You have given us hope for the future and strength for the moment. Help me know You more and find my true happiness in You. Help me today dear Lord, to use the abilities that you have blest me with to your glory. May all those that I meet see Christ through me today. May each family member and each friend do all they can today to reach out to help someone in need. Help me to grow in you and be mature in my Christian walk. Help us, Lord, to live each day in light of your gracious revelation and redemption. May we live with gratitude and confidence in you. May we bear witness to your grace through all we do and say. What a wonderful world we live in, Lord. You give us happiness, and yet we create sorrow. Turn our tears into laughter, God, that we may enjoy this blessed gift of life we have been given.
All praise be to you, Jesus, because you are Israel’s Messiah, the Anointed One who ushers in the kingdom of God. All praise be to you, Jesus, because you are the Son of God, the rightful King, the One who rules with divine authority. All praise be to you, Jesus, because you are not just the King of Israel, and not just the King of creation, but also my King. I honor you today with my words and deeds. May I live my whole life in service to you, O King. To you be all the glory. I pray in Your Son’s precious name. Amen
Be courageous, for I am with you and I will never fail you. God Promises He will give us courage when the time comes
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. – (Deuteronomy 31:6)
You must pray with all your might. That does not mean saying your prayers, or sitting gazing about in church or chapel with eyes wide open while someone else says them for you. It means fervent, effectual, untiring wrestling with God. This kind of prayer be sure the devil and the world and your own indolent, unbelieving nature will oppose. They will pour water on this flame.”
