Dearest loving Father, I come to You today. I really do want to know You. I want to have a deep intimate relationship with You. Thank You for calling me out into the deep. Today I surrender every area of my life to You. I choose to trust You knowing that You will show me Your wonders and glory. I commit my words to You today and choose to bless my future. Thank You for directing my steps. I keep my heart and mind focused on You. Father, thank You for the seed of the Word which is alive and growing in my heart. Search my heart and mind today. Have Your way in me. Use me for Your glory and produce a harvest in me. Lord, help me to look beneath the surface. Help me to see others the way You see them. Show me how to connect with others and be a blessing everywhere I go.
Abba Father, I love You. I come now with a heart full of gratitude for all You are and all You do. Thank You for Your love, mercy and grace in my life. Father, help me to know Your loving nature. Nothing else matters. I want to know love, live love and worship You as love. Help me I pray, lover of my soul. Help me discipline myself to take the time to know You, take the time to hear You and take the time to tell You my thoughts, hopes and dreams. Lord help me to spend time with you to share my fears, apprehensions and doubts. As I seek You with all my heart, I pray that You would reveal more and more of Yourself to me.
Lord, I come to You today and desire a sacred time of quietness before You. I need Your peace. I need to be assured of Your love. I desire to experience Your quiet presence. As I come before You, like a child resting in their mother’s love, I ask You to please quiet my heart and fill me with your joy, love and peace. Thank You for Your mighty miracles. Help me to trust in You. Help me to see with Your eyes. Help me to commune with You and really know Your heart so I can pray in faith believing. Remove from my mouth any curse, Lord. Fill me with praise and thanksgiving for all that I have and all that I am. Thank You that You are in full control and working out every detail of our world’s issues according to Your good purpose. Help my heart to always be filled with hope no matter how difficult my crises. Through Jesus, we ask this prayer. Amen
I am a gracious God who is righteous and full of mercy. God Promises He Will Be Righteous, Merciful and Full of Grace
Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. – (Psalm 116:5)
The goal of prayer is the ear of God, a goal that can only be reached by patient and continued and continuous waiting upon Him, pouring out our heart to Him and permitting Him to speak to us. Only by so doing can we expect to know Him, and as we come to know Him better we shall spend more time in His presence and find that presence a constant and ever-increasing delight.
