Help me find my contentment in You

Dearest loving Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I will tell of Your love. I will tell of Your good deeds. I choose to glorify You in everything I say and do. I remember the victories You’ve given me. I remember Your grace. I bless You and thank You for the good things You have in store for my future. Father, forgive me when I get so discontent. When I worry over scarcity and miss the fact that You and Your grace have all the sufficiency I would ever need. Help me find my contentment in You.

Lord, help me to become the peacemaker that You want me to be. Help me to communicate the good news of the gospel to all I meet today and may I be in a position to lead people to a saving knowledge of You, my Lord and my Savior by being a peacemaker. Jesus, give me the courage to bring your light into dark and challenging places that are before me. Show me how to reveal your light within me in the places you have called me to lead. Make me a good example, Lord, of a life made new through Your love. Help others to see in me that Your way is the best way. Dear Father, thank You for all the grace that You give me in Christ Jesus. Help me be aware of Your grace and live in the strength that it provides. Thank You for all You are and what You have done for me. Thank You for Your love and forgiveness. Help me share Your good news with others that they, too, might share in Your goodness.

God, thank you for sending us the great light of your Son into our dark world. We face many different kinds of darkness in our nation, our world, and our personal lives. But we rejoice that your light can never be extinguished. Give us the confidence to allow the light of Jesus within us to shine through us in our spheres of influence. May the people we encounter see the light of love that can only be fueled by the Spirit of Jesus within us as we follow you each day. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
