Our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name– 1 Chronicles 29:13 (NLT)
Heavenly Father, Mighty and Everlasting God, today I choose to forget the past. I don’t want anything to hold me back from what You have in store for my future. I choose forgiveness. I choose peace. Help me, by Your Spirit, to press forward into the life of blessing You have for me.
I acknowledge that all that I have and all that I am comes from You. I give You the glory and I thank You for all You have given me. Help me to teach my friends and family to understand that everything they have comes from God and they should never brag about what they have or how much better they think they are than others. Lord, take my lips, and speak through them; take my mind, and think through it; take my heart, and set it on fire.
Glorious heavenly Father, as I pause this day to think of the brave men and women who have given their lives for the sake of others, may I be thankful for them. May I remember that noble deeds and kind words are never lost, but that self may block the way to justice.
Abba Father, make war to cease and lead us to victories that are won through peace. I pray this in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen
You are My workmanship, created in Christ to do My good works. Almighty God promises that we are His workmanship, created in Christ.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
Let the fires go out in the boiler room of the church and the place will still look smart and clean, but it will be cold. The Prayer Room is the boiler room for its spiritual life.
