Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.– Psalm 100:4 (NLT)
Heavenly Father God, my Creator, today I humbly come before You, lifting You up and magnifying Your Holy Name. Thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I bless You and honor You for Your goodness. O Captain and Leader of the Holy War, may I have truth as the girdle of my loins, righteousness as my breastplate, salvation as my helmet, peace for my feet, and faith for my shield. May I have no fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness, but reprove them by my consistent life and faithful words.
My Father, give me joyful courage to squarely face my life. Help me to know that I cannot vanquish life by evading duties, nor encircling myself with indulgences. If I may be blind to my situation, restore my sight that I may make ready a worthy passage with thee. Almighty Lord, let us bow to You as the one Lord, and with loyal hearts yield to Your authority.
Rescue me from the craziness around me. Be my refuge when life gets too hectic. Lift me out of the race and grant me rest. Our heavenly Father, El Roi-The God Who Sees, we come to you to acknowledge your authority and to crave Your blessing. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
Your life comes from Me because you are My offspring. God promises to us that we are His children
For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, “For we are also His offspring. (Acts 17:28)
You don’t even have to be the one praying, but if you get around somebody who really know how to pray–prayer will lift you when you’ve fallen, prayer will catch you when you’ve lost your grip, prayer will stop you from going overboard, prayer will bring you out!
