Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love. I Corinthians 16:13-14 (NLT)
My dearest loving Father, I commit my words to You today. I choose to speak good things over my life and bless my future. Keep me close to You and use me for Your glory. Today I choose to speak words of life over my future. I know that You have a good plan for me, and so I get in agreement with that plan. It’s a new season; it’s a new day, and I declare Your goodness and blessing are coming my way. Thank You for Your Word that is living and active and growing in my life. I submit myself to You today. Teach me Your ways. Give me insight into Your Word so that I may know You more. I call on You in the midst of my trouble. I praise You because You are my hope. I bless You and magnify You, knowing You have a good plan for my future
Father, I come to You and put my faith in You. I need You for such a time as this. I need You for specific needs in my life. I ask You to be Lord of my life in this generation. Help me to live for You today. Lord, I confess, I know nothing of the incredible power You have for my life. I pray, open my understanding. Help me to know and experience Your power in my life. Empower me, I pray. Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in me, I pray that You would live Your will in and through me.
Jesus, I confess I have had a front row seat and somehow turn around and forget all the miracles You have done. I let Your power and goodness escape my mind and make decisions as if You did not exist. Forgive me. Today revive my heart. Fill me with Your Spirit that I might live for You. Guide me in my choice of friends that I will choose wisely. Give me a spirit of love and concern for all those around me that need a friend. Help me to be the right kind of friend, a friend that loves at all times, that is loyal, and that influences friends to walk with God. Help me to make choices in life as You taught when You were here on this earth. Thank You for the sources You have given us such as the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount to help us develop a lifestyle based on the choices You want us to make. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ so that He be glorified through us, Amen
My Word will not return to Me until it accomplishes what I intended. God Promises His Word Will Not Return Void
For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. – (Isaiah 55:10-11)
Prayer is the vital breath of the Christian; not the thing that makes him alive, but the evidence that he is alive.
