“This is what the LORD says: ‘Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth.”’ Jeremiah 9:23-24
Dearest Loving Abba Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I choose to focus on my victories and let go of any negative experiences in my past. Lord, I thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I believe that You have a good plan to pour out Your blessing and favor on me. Give me strength to obey Your commands and honor You all the days of my life. I bless and praise You today. Make me worthy, Lord, of the great love which You have given to me. Turn me from my woodenness to true life; life which comes from Your indwelling Spirit.
Help me today to respond with an attitude of love and forgiveness to those who treat me wrong. My great desire is to be more like You. May others see Christ in all my words and deeds and may my attitude be an example to my family, friends and neighbors. Lord, I know that you are at work for good, for my good. Thank You for forming me in a variety of ways, including testing. May I become more and more the person you intend me to be.
Father, help me with my spiritual blindness. Open my eyes Lord that I may see what you want me to see. Lord I am tired to trying to be perfect. I cannot do it. I do, however, know how to accept your grace and forgiveness. I accept it today. Thank you Lord for accepting me with all my imperfections and helping me live for you. In Jesus name. Thank you, Lord, for your grace in Christ. In the marvelous name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
God promises the devil will flee if we submit and draw near to God.
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:7-10, NKJV.
Every one of our children will be brought into the ark, if we pray and work earnestly for them.
