Then Peter came to him and asked, ‘Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?’ ‘No, not seven times,’ Jesus replied, ‘but seventy times seven!”’ Matthew 18:21-22 (NLT)
My dearest loving Father, I come to You with an open and humble heart. I thank You for the victory that You have in store for me even when I can’t see it. I choose to trust You and Your goodness knowing that You are faithful. Thank You for Your patience and grace toward me. Search my heart. Lead me in Your ways. I choose to obey Your voice quickly and honor You in all that I do. Thank You for Your promised companionship. Give me strength to turn the corners of my life and to honor You in doing so. Father, thank You that You know my situation. You know my needs. Help me gain strength from this and to take heart. Teach me to wait on You and trust You to provide for me in ways that only You can.
My mind runs wild with worries and fears, Lord. I have done wrong, and I need Your forgiveness. Forgive me for living in the past or worrying about the future. Accept my apologies, God, and create in me a new heart. Father, today I repent for anything that I’ve been confessing that isn’t pleasing to You. I choose to turn around and keep my mind and heart focused on Your Word. Make Your truth real to me today. As I pour out my heart to You, as I strike up a conversation, tune my heart to hear Your reply. Fill my heart with Your peace, joy and hope. Might I experience Your loving presence during our time together. There is no better time to come to You with a renewed spirit and a resolve to be Your disciple on earth. I am excited about the possibilities and ask Your blessings for a victorious, abundant life!. Help me live this day for Your glory. Help me press on through this day trusting in Your love and power, looking forward to the heavenly prize You have for me.
Lord, loving the way You love is not easy. I cannot do it by myself. I ask You to help me today love those around me with the patience, kindness, sacrifice and dedication that You love me with. Thank You for Your love; help me to love others. Make me merciful and caring, Lord. Help me to improve my attitude toward others and You. Do not allow me to take for granted the great gifts You give. May my life be a testimony to others that I am standing on the Lord’s side. Help me to be firm with those that I meet and talk to by letting them know there is no neutral ground concerning where they will spend eternity. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
You can trust in Me, for I am your strength and your song. God promises He will be our strength
Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; “For Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.” – (Isaiah 12:2)
Our prayers run along one road and God’s answers by another, and by and by they meet.
