In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Romans 12:6-8 (NLT)
Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for Your hand of favor, blessing and mercy on my life. You are good and faithful. Because of that I trust You. I trust Your love, and I trust Your timing. Lord, thank You for approving me and empowering me by Your love. I open my heart and mind to Your truth and invite You to have Your way in my life. Remove anything that would hold me back from all You have in store .
Abba Father, help me to live for You. Help me be zealous in all that You ask me to do. Help me to know You, love You, worship You and serve You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit I pray! Teach me today to tithe on all that You have blest me with. Thank You, dear Lord for providing for me and my family in such a marvelous way. We honor You and thank You for being our God, our Lord and our Savior. Father, we are grateful for your gift of life , gift of encouragement, gift of teaching, gift of leadership, gift of kindness, gift of serving and for your gift of mercy. We acknowledge that our words are often disconnected from our actions. We say one thing and do another. We make promises and then are unwilling to pay the price to keep them. Forgive us for the incongruity of our lives. By your Spirit, fashion in us your faithfulness. Use our words and actions to bring life and flourishing to other people
Lord, I do surely love You. Show me new wonders and teach me new questions, that I might come to know You better each day. Father, show me those areas of bitterness and unforgiveness in my life. Help me to acknowledge them, own them and then give them back to You. Then Lord, in obedience and with Your strength, help me forgive each and every offense that You bring to my mind. Set me free Lord from the sin of unforgiveness. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
