Please guide me by Your Holy Spirit.

Our heavenly Father, I come to You today with thanksgiving in my heart. I enter into Your courts with praise. Today I declare that You are good, and Your mercy endures forever! Have Your way in me by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Father, I give You thanks and praise today for the promise of victory. Give me Your vision for the future so that I can move confidently into the abundant life You have for me.

Father, thank you for all the ways you speak to us. Thank you for speaking to us through your inspired Word. Thank you for the times you show us something new. Thank you for your Spirit, who uses our life experiences to teach us, challenge us, and inspire us. I need to feel Your love. Help me, dear Lord, to be open and available to you. May I hear what you want to say to me today, tomorrow, and every day. Lord, help me search my heart. Help me to know where I have wandered from You. Forgive me for any hypocrisy and help me to live in the full awareness of Your love and grace.

Lord, when people let me down, be with me to help me understand them. Shower Your love upon me, and deal with me with compassion. Lord, help me not to retaliate when someone wants to pick a fight by harassing me or insulting me. Instead give me the strength and faith to turn the other cheek and show Your love through me and then do what is right. May my response be a testimony of Your love to those that witness how I respond. Lord, I want to be used by You to help others. Please guide me by Your Holy Spirit. Show me what You want me to do and then help me be obedient and have the faith to act in the authority. In Jesus’ name. Amen
