Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.– Ephesians 3:20-21 (NLT)
Abba, Heavenly Father, I come to You with an open and humble heart. I surrender every area of my life to You. Mold me into Your image and keep me hidden in You. I bless You and praise You today Father. Lord Father King of kings and Lord of lords, today I am reminded of your preeminent sovereignty over all things, including me. I acknowledge your authority by submitting myself to you. In obedience to your Word, I offer myself to you today. I surrender my agendas so that I might be devoted to your agenda. I confess my tendency to live as if I am the king of the universe. I commit myself to your glory and your ways. Let me always be, first and foremost, Your follower, Your servant.
Gracious Lord, today I set my heart and mind on You knowing that You are good and faithful. I trust that as I seek You and put You first, You will direct my steps. I choose to remain in You and follow Your leading in everything I do.
Abba Father, I rejoice that You know the depths of my soul, and that I may call upon You to supply its needs. Make me worthy for the springs of joy where my soul may be refreshed, and where I may gather hope and encouragement for the greater loves of life. I pray in the name of Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.
If you help the poor, your light will shine like the dawn. God promises that we will receive blessings when we give our hearts to him.
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard (Isaiah 58:7-8)
The secret of praying is praying in secret.
