3-5All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (The Message (MSG))
Abba Father,
Thank You that when hurts come my way that I can turn them over to You and that I can have the confidence that You will take care of those hurts. Help me to be one that shares with others that are hurting the good news of Your love and Your willingness to take their hurts if they put their trust in You.
It is my prayer today that my labor will be a labor of love for You. Whether, I am in my work place, my neighborhood or at home may all that I do and say honor Your name. May others see Christ not only in me but working through me.
This day, Thou Savior of our souls, in whom we are separated for eternity, guide us by Thy Holy Spirit to the praise of Thy grace. Amen.
Prayer Quote of the day
Prayer is the one prime, eternal condition by which the Father is pledged to put the Son in possession of the world. Christ prays through His people. Had there been importunate, universal, and continuous prayer by God’s people, long ere this the earth had been possessed for Christ.
