We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. – Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. I John 4:16, 18 (NLT)
My dearest Abba Father, thank You for making all things new. Thank You for renewing me, restoring me and setting me on the road to victory. Show me Your ways and give me the strength to embrace every opportunity that comes from You. Lord, today I choose to be quick to obey. I don’t want to waste time. I don’t want to try to fill a bag with holes in it. I know that You have good plans for me, and as I obey Your Word, I will move forward into the life of blessing You have prepared for me. Today I choose to speak what You speak. I choose to believe what You believe about me. Help me to know Your ways, help me to know Your love so that I may walk with You all the days of my life.
Lord, forgive me for all the times I have tried to set myself up as my own God. Today, I ask You to speak to my heart and help me get back on track with You. Guide me in everything I do so I will become the kind of person You want me to be. Father, I come to You, poor and needy. Help me today. Comfort me and help me comfort someone else in the same way You did me. Forgive me of my sins and help me to study Thy Word so that I may honor and glorify Your name in all that I do. Be the anchor in my life, O Lord, so that I might not be tossed around by all the winds of change in my world. Make my faith constant; remaining true to You.
We thank you for the promise and hope you have given us . One day, you will “camp out” with us. You will dwell with us and we will dwell with you in a way we can only imagine today. Thank you for this hope. In the meanwhile, may we know you intimately and truly through Jesus Christ, who “camped out” with us and revealed the fullness of your glory. Thank you for helping me, through my prayers, to know you more truthfully. Thank you for teaching me to hope in you, even when I struggle to believe. Thank you for your love, which will never let me go. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
If you delight in My Word, you will be fruitful and prosperous. God promises we are fruitful through Him
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. – (Psalm 1:1-3)
In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart.
