Heavenly Father, EL ELYON, Most High God, thank You for the promise of life in Your Word. Show me any area where I can rise up higher by pursuing loyalty. Help me, by Your Spirit, to be more faithful and supportive to those around me. Let Your light shine through me as I pursue righteousness and loyalty today
Help me to be an encourager today. And if I need encouragement send someone my way to encourage me so that I can be my best in honoring You. May I always be ready to share Christ’s love and ready to encourage someone in their time of need.
O God our Lord, some of us shrink from our life-work, from those with whom we have to associate, from unwelcome toil and irksome tasks. Enable us to see your plan, and to trust the Lord who is working out His plan in our lives. May the love of Christ constrain us no longer to live unto ourselves, but to the Lord Almighty.
A billion stars pierce the infinite darkness of space. Surely Your light can break through the darkness of my ignorance. Shine the light of true wisdom through me, Lord, and let me share in Your glory. Amen.

The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayer-less religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.
