“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:14-15 (NIV)
My Dearest Abba Father, thank You for always being faithful and working in my life. Today I open my heart to You and choose to focus on You instead of my circumstances. I know that with You, all things are possible. Lord, thank You for loving me. Thank You for believing in me and always building me up. I ask that You show me creative ways to encourage and build up the people around me. Help me to be an example of Your love. Father, help me to see those that are poor around me through Your eyes of compassion. I pray that You will guide and direct me in being more generous to those in need.
O Lord, how good you are to me! Not only do you pour out blessings in my life and work, but also you help me to remember them. Thank you for the nudging of your Spirit so that I might be filled with gratitude. Indeed, Lord, I invite you once again to remind me of your goodness. Help me to remember things I have forgotten. Help me to see my life from a fresh perspective, so that I might be thankful in new ways. Most of all, help me to remember anew the gift of salvation through Christ
Lord, thank You for Your grace, mercy and love. Help me overcome the stress and trauma in my life like You did. Lord, do not let me become spoiled and conceited. I want to share my life and to share the lives of others. Help me to know others better, and in so doing, know You better, too. Help us as to be strong in the Lord and show courage in communicating the love of our Lord and Savior. May our communication be strengthened daily because of the assurance that You give us that You will never forsake us but will always be with us. In the marvelous name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
Don’t worry, I will take care of you. God Promises He Will Take Care of Our Worries
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? – (Matthew 6:25-26)
I have been benefited by praying for others; for by making an errand to God for them I have gotten something for myself.
