You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.– 1 Peter 1:8-9 (NLT)
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, favor and mercy upon my life. I praise You today because You are good. I receive Your truth by faith and rise up to walk in my calling. I know that You are going before me to prepare the way as I walk in Your favor all the days of my life.
Make me merciful and caring, Lord. Help me to improve my attitude toward others and You. Do not allow me to take for granted the great gifts You give. I commit my life to You today, dear Lord, willing to answer Your call for my life. Give me an open heart to listen and a willing heart to respond. Unite my family as together we yield to Your call to follow You. Bless us, challenge us and lead us in the paths of Your righteousness today. Lord, we thank You for the discipline that our parents gave to us. We also praise You that because You love us You discipline us to make us righteous and mold us for the purpose You have for us in our lifetime on this earth. Help me to live for You today and to learn daily from Your teachings and by Your discipline that I may be the servant You desire me to be. Forgive me when I don’t appreciate all that I have. Too often I look at the things I don’t have, rather than at the things I do have. Thank You, Lord, for all the blessings You shower upon me.
Aba Father, thank You for Your gracious hand that is upon my life. I give You glory today for all You have done in my past, all that You are doing today, and all that You will do in my future. I love You and trust You in all things knowing that Your favor surrounds me like a shield. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
The dead will live again. God Promises the Second Coming and Resurrection
“Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come. John 5:28-29, NKJV
When an answer I did not expect comes to a prayer which I believed I truly meant, I shrink back from it; if the burden my Lord asks me to bear be not the burden of my heart’s choice, and I fret inwardly and do not welcome His will, then I know nothing of Calvary love.
