Dearest Abba Father, thank You for making me new. I choose today to leave behind the old life and ask that You empower me by Your spirit. Help me to understand Your plan and know the truth of Your Word that sets me free. Lord, today I set my heart and mind on pleasing You. Help me to break away from the snare of people pleasing. Help me to stand strong against criticism and learn to walk in love always. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to You always.
Lord, guide me as I try to be the person I think You want me to be. Help me to strive for the world I imagine this one could be, with Your aid. Lord, how we thank you that you are with us always. Thank you for your Spirit who dwells in us and among us as your people. Thank you for the countless times you have made yourself known to us. Help us, Lord, to grow in our awareness of you. By your grace, may we practice your presence until we become consistently aware of you. Help us especially in settings where we are apt to forget you. I am waiting, Lord, for Your Spirit to rain down upon me and soak me with Your loving kindness. Drench me in the waters of love and life. May all we do this day glorify you and draw us closer to you.
Help me to remain in communication with you today. Help me to speak to you as if you were present with me. Help me to listen as your Spirit whispers to me.. May I grow to experience your presence in every part of life. Thank You for Your promise that says that out of the abundance of the heart springs forth good things. Enlarge my heart today so that I can make an impact for You on the lives of others today. Thank You for the abundance that You have given our family. Help us to use all that You have given us as You would have it done. Bless us this day and may Christ be glorified through all that we do. In the marvelous name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back one word of what I said-Psalm 89:34
You should accordingly exercise your mind to remember your friends, relatives, and fellow-workers to determine if they are in need. As you remember each one so shall you in turn intercede for them. If in interceding on their behalf your spirit remains cold and dry, then you know you are not to pray for them.
