“Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13 (NIV)
Dearest loving Abba Yahweh, today I choose to travel light. I choose to shake off the past, shake off disappointment and forgive those who have hurt me. Heal my heart as I release everything that would try to hold me back. Today I declare what You say about me. I am strong; I am bold; I am equipped; I am overcoming! I align my thoughts with Your thoughts and my words with Your words. Thank You for leading me into victory all of the days of my life. Thank You for Your Word which strengthens and protects me. Thank You for speaking truth to my heart. Help me hear Your voice more clearly so I can live a life pleasing to You. Thank You for loving me so that I can show love to others. Teach me to be patient and kind and treat others the way You always treat me.
Abba Father, I pray for my fellowship. I pray that we will be joyful, grow in maturity, encourage each other and live in harmony and peace. Through the power of Your Holy Spirit please help me always be joyful, never stop praying and be thankful in all circumstances. Make me worthy, Lord, of the great love which You have given to me. Turn me from my woodenness to true life; life which comes from Your indwelling Spirit. Keep me faithful in reading the Bible with my family. Help me to make my family a priority so that they will know that I love them and care for them. Give me and every family, the courage and strength to prioritize Your Kingdom above everything in this world.
Lord Jesus, it is so easy for me to think I have you figured out. I can get overly comfortable with you, making you a familiar friend yet losing touch with the fact that you are also King of kings and Lord of lords. I am challenged to see you with fresh, open eyes, to be amazed and stretched by your glory. Trouble comes and I doubt Your power and Your love. Forgive me. Today, I rebuke the lie that You do not care for me and choose to believe the truth that You love me and care for me deeply. Thank you, Jesus, for taking upon yourself the blame for our sin so that you could give us your peace. You allowed yourself to be torn apart so that we and our world could be woven back together. Your resurrection was the beginning of the undoing of the chaos that sin brought into God’s good world! Your ascension marked the beginning of your body, the Church, continuing your restoration project on earth until you return! May we, your Church, join in God’s shalom that seeks to permeate every area of life. In Jesus’ mighty name, I Pray, Amen
My righteousness towers like the mountains and My justice goes deep as the sea. God Promises His Righteousness and Justice Last Forever
Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast. – (Psalm 36:6)
We must be still before God.
