“Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.” Ephesians 4:21-23 (NLT)
Dearest Abba Father, today I choose to put an end to worry in my life. I choose to feed my faith by studying Your promises and declaring Your Word over my life. Help me to totally trust in You today and always. Lord, thank You for drawing me to the place of peace. I choose to be still. I choose to find rest in You. I choose to trust You knowing that my days are ordered by You. Thank You for ordering my steps and leading me on the right path. Today I choose to honor and respect everyone, and in turn, I choose to honor You.
Abba Father, be my guide. I need Your wisdom, Your strength, Your guidance. Thank You, Lord, that You love me and long for me to come to You for help. I come now, Lord Jesus. Dear Holy Spirit, I come to You just as I am, desperate and needy for Your touch. You know my situation. I need You to intercede for me to God the Father. To Him, who can do all things. To Him, who is all love and all power. Dear Holy Spirit, I give You control of my life. Guide me, direct me, fill me with Your peace and power. Let me follow the giving example of Christ. Make me ready to serve; sharing time, talents, and gifts wherever and whenever possible.
Dear Lord, I would confess that it’s easy for me to forget the poor. Forgive me, Lord, for my hardness of heart. Help me to consider the poor. May I spend time with the poor so that I might know them and their challenges. And may I look at this world with your eyes, seeing its poverty as well as its potential. Lord, thank You that I can be certain that I will spend eternity with You in heaven because I have accepted you as my Savior. May I also be diligent today to share my faith with my family, friends and associates so that they may know that they have a decision to make on where they will spend eternity. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Humble yourself before Me and in time I will exalt you. God Promises to Exalt the Humble in Heart
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. – (1st Peter 5:6)
How many there are whose lives are weak and whose service is poor and ineffective, just because they have not zealously guarded the time and place of prayer!
