So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 (NLT)
Dearest Abba Father, thank You for Your love and grace upon me. Right now, I let go of all the distractions of life and focus on You. I choose to be still, to get quiet before You and thank You for Your peace all the days of my life. Today I choose to abide in You. I don’t want to live life on my own, so I choose to trust in You. Show me Your ways. Teach me Your love. Keep me close to You always Fill me with a joy that remains untouched by the trials of the day. When I hear Your name, Lord, let me respond in jubilation. Be the source of my comfort and peace. Don’t let me waste time, but let me use every moment to the fullest. Help me to appreciate my life, and teach me new ways to use my time. Thank You for all my blessings.
Abba Father, you know how I can let things build up. Instead of dealing with issues in the way I should, I let them build up until they are sins festering in my soul and body. Show me today where I need to confess. Point out areas in my life that need forgiveness. Help me to live the life of freedom that you desire for me. Help me break free from this bondage of guilt. Thank You that I serve a sovereign God. I stand in awe at Your marvelous works and come to You as my God who is all knowing, all powerful and sovereign. May others see by my actions that I honor You as the sovereign Lord of my life. Father, thank you for the gift of Scripture. Thank you for teaching us, not only through words of instructions, but also through the stories of your people. Thank you for letting us see them fully, not just as flannel board figures without depth. Thank you for how we can learn from their example, both when they do well and when they fall short. May our minds and hearts be fully and wisely attentive to your Word.
Lord, when we face things in life that are unexpected and unwelcome, help us to trust you, to sense your presence, to rely on your grace. Give us confidence, we pray, that you are working in all things for good. Lord, how I praise You for Your mercy, compassion and unfailing love toward me. How majestic You are. How glorious. I come to You with a heart full of praise for all You have done and all that You are. Truly You are most worthy of my praise! Through Jesus, we ask this prayer. Amen
I am delighted to give you My kingdom. God Promises We Will Share In His Kingdom
Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)
What we need now for quickening is not so much money and wisdom as the spirit of supplication. Pray for yourself until the new life is infused. When that new life comes, it will lead you to pray for others.
