“I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” Psalms 16:8
Dearest loving Father, I trust that You are leading and guiding me today. I trust that You hold my future. I choose to tune out the discouraging voices and tune into Your Word. Fill me with Your peace and joy as You direct my steps. Lord, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to show me the way. I receive Your truth and commit my heart to You. I invite You into every area of my being and choose to follow You all the days of my life.
Almighty God, how I praise You for Your majesty. You are everlasting, the creator of the earth. Thank You for caring for me and giving me strength. Father, thank You for Your love. I want to surrender to this love. Help me know You, spend time with You and learn to completely trust You. Help me love You and then obey. Help me to forgive those who have offended me like You have so graciously forgiven me. Help me to rely on the Holy Spirit to turn my inadequacies over to You. I want to depend on Your power to make my life more functional for You. Keep me from trying to do things my way and direct me every moment of every day to do Your will.
Lord, I do not even know what I need to be better than I am today, but in Your wisdom, You see my every need. Give me what You will, in order that I might be an honor and a glory to You. Thank you for those in our life, who help us to learn how we can lead in a way that energizes people and transforms them into healthy community invested in your mission. Lord, please give me the courage to examine my own leadership today. By your Spirit, show me where I am doing well and where I need to grow. Whether I’m exercising leadership in an organization, in a job, in a shop, in a school, in a neighborhood, or in my family, may I lead in a way that honors you and energizes your people. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
I have anointed you with My Spirit as a down payment of what is yet to come. God Promises He Has Anointed Us With His Holy Spirit
Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. – (2nd Corinthians 1:21-22)
Like art, like music, like so many other disciplines, prayer can only be appreciated when you actually spend time in it. Spending time with the Master will elevate your thinking. The more you pray, the more will be revealed. You will appreciate not only the greatness of prayer, but the greatness of God.
