I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love. Psalms 119:124 (NLT)
Dearest Abba Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for Your kindness that draws me. I come to You today giving You all that I am. Make me new. Lord, thank You for shining Your light into my dark world. Help me not forget. Today, help me carry Your light and shine it on all those in darkness around me. I thank You for Your limitless power at work in my life. I know that Your hand is not too short for You are able and mighty to do great works in my life . Dear Heavenly Father, with all my heart, I love You!
Lord, You have done so many wonderful things. Your power is beyond imagining. Send that power to me, that I might stand fast in my faith and be unmoved in a world full of temptation. Give me the courage to develop a firm foundation for my life with You. Help me to learn to not only just read the Bible but help me to learn to study and apply what I learn to my every day walk and talk.
Lord, thank you for being our shepherd. Thank you for being my shepherd. Thank you, as well, for being at work on my behalf. Thank you for doing in my life things shepherds do for their sheep: guiding, feeding, resting, protecting. Help me, Lord, to live with the confidence that comes from knowing you are my shepherd. May I receive all the good gifts you have for me. May I follow you faithfully at all times, relying on you, enjoying your goodness and mercy. And, at the end of the day, may I dwell in your house my whole life long. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
My Spirit will rest on you when you suffer for Christ’s sake. God Promises He Will Strengthen Those Who Preach the Gospel
If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. – (1st Peter 4:14)
Prayer does not mean simply to pour out one’s heart. It means rather to find the way to God and to speak with him, whether the heart is full or empty.
