You light a lamp for me. The LORD, my God, lights up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. Psalms 18:28-29 (NLT)
Abba Loving Father, thank You for the good treasures You’ve deposited in me. I will be faithful to develop what You’ve entrusted to me. Help me, by Your Spirit, to stay close to You and follow Your leading every step of the way. Lord, help me to develop the talents You have given me. Show me to how to continue growing, stretching and increasing. Help me to maximize what You’ve placed in my hand as I daily give You glory for Your faithfulness in my life .
Dear Father, thank You for this day. Come and satisfy me with your unfailing love. Father, help me to encourage other people. Help me to be kind, considerate and to treat others in the way I want to be treated. Today might I speak Your grace and love into other people that they may truly find the encouragement that they need. Help me this day to get rid of any selfish ambition in my life so that through my words and deeds others may see Christ through me. Give me a humble spirit and a servant’s heart. Give me open eyes to look at those around me so that I can show them kindness, love and appreciation. Guide my family today and may each of us do all we do today to honor Your name.
Our Father in heaven, we thank you for the wonderful promise that you will be with us one day, living among us as our God. Thank you Lord for this inspiring vision. Yet, we also thank you for being with us now. Thank you for being present in Jesus, in your Spirit, and in your people. Thank you for making yourself known to us in so many different ways. Help us, we pray, to live in fellowship with you, remembering you and your presence throughout the day. Help me to live for what is important this day, so that I might truly be ready for all the days to come. Your gifts are so wonderful, Lord. Please don’t allow me to take them for granted. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
I will cover you all day long as you rest between My shoulders. God Promises We Can Rest in His Arms
The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him, Who shelters him all the day long; and he shall dwell between His shoulders. – (Deuteronomy 33:12)
Nothing is impossible,’ said one of the seven sages of Greece, ‘to industry.’ Let us change the word, ‘industry,’ to ‘persevering prayer,’ and the motto will be more Christian and more worthy of universal adoption.
