But Lord, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be our strong arm each day and our salvation in times of trouble.– Isaiah 33:2 (NLT)
Our heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word which is life to my spirit. I receive Your strength today and choose to speak favor to the mountains. Thank You for preparing a path of victory as I keep my heart and mind stayed on You. Lord, thank You for filling me with Your power by the Holy Spirit. I choose to feed my faith by declaring Your Word. I choose to walk in Your ways and honor You in everything I do.
Almighty God, grant that I may be spared the allurements of deceptive happiness which leaves weary days. I ask for wisdom that I may not speak foolishly, think foolishly, or act foolishly; and may I not be detained by the foolishness of others, but pursue my work, whether it be far or near.
Loving Father, Thank you for forming us from the earth and giving us Your work to do on the earth. Thank you for breathing into us your own breath, the breath that gives life. Thank you for entrusting your creation to us. May we contribute wisely and productively to this world. May we do so by the life and strength you give us. May we be fully your people in all we do, living for your purposes and glory. Thank you for giving us capabilities and strengths and great health O Lord. Thank you for our brains, muscles, bones, and all that enables us to work in this world. May the coming days in my life be a time that I not only grow spiritually every day but that I reach out to the world around me so that every person I make contact with see You through my walk and talk. I commit all my plans to You and ask for Your guiding hand upon my life to show me Your will. I pray in the name of Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.
You can look forward to the new heaven and earth that I have promised. God promises He has prepared a new heaven and a new earth
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. – (2nd Peter 3:13)
Public prayers are of little worth unless they are founded on or followed up by private praying.
