Make the LORD of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble. He will keep you safe. Isaiah 8:13-14 (NLT)
Dearest loving Father, thank You for speaking to my heart. Thank You for leading me in the path of blessing. Thank You for directing my steps. I ask that You help me choose right relationships. Give me courage to let go of the wrong relationships so I can make room for the right people You have ordained for my life. Father, I thank You for Your love. And I thank You that You promised that nothing will ever separate me from Your love. I accept Your love today and pray that I would live from a heart of gratitude and joy that I am Your beloved.
Father, thank You for creating Your new temple within my own body. I bow before You as my Lord and Savior. My soul yearns, even faints to be conscience of Your presence. I worship You today in Spirit and truth. Help me know You. Help me grow in my knowledge and in my experience with You. Open the eyes of my heart so I can say with confidence that I know that I know, that I know all about You. I thank You for Your love. And I thank You that You promised that nothing will ever separate me from Your love. I accept Your love today and pray that I would live from a heart of gratitude and joy that I am Your beloved. I choose to obey You in the small things. I desire to pass the small tests so You can trust me with the greater things You have prepared. My eyes are blind to many of Your great works, Lord. I miss so much of Your greatness and love. Help me to see You in new ways each day
Help me to be concerned about the pollution that my words may be adding to in my life. Give me the discipline to clean up my words of criticism, jealousy and gossip. Make my life and my words an example of Your glory in all that I do today. Help us, Lord, to be wise in the way we speak of you. May we be honest, clear, and straightforward. May we also be sensitive to those around us and faithful to what our work expects of us. May all we do in our work today honor you. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
I open prison doors and set captives free. God Promises He can Set Us Free
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. – (Isaiah 61:1)
Prayer is the preface to the book of Christian living; the text of the new life sermon; the girding on of the armor for battle; the pilgrim’s preparation for his journey. It must be supplemented by action or it amounts to nothing.
