“But in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. Psalms 18:6 (NLT)
Loving Father in heaven, thank You for the promise of life in Your Word. Show me any area where I can rise up higher by pursuing loyalty. Help me, by Your Spirit, to be more faithful and supportive to those around me. Let Your light shine through me as I pursue righteousness and loyalty today. Abba Father, thank You for loving me so that I can show love to others. Teach me to be patient and kind and treat others the way You always treat me.
Abba Father, I know that you gave me the Holy Spirit to equip me for your service. I also know that you said that you give all Christians a Spiritual Gift. Help me know what my Spiritual Gifts are. Help me use them so I can do the work you called me to do in the fullness of your power. Help me today to learn to give, as You Yourself have given: freely, joyfully, and completely.
May I be truly thankful in every situation. By your Spirit, remind me of your goodness when I’m hurting or afraid. Make your presence known to me, Lord, so that I might offer you thanks. Lord, I acknowledge that I am not thankful in all circumstances. When life is hard, when work is scary and disappointing, I must admit that it’s difficult for me to give you thanks. In retrospect, gratitude comes easily. But, in the moment of suffering or sadness or fear or disappointment, I often have a hard time giving thanks. Forgive me, Lord. I thank You today for all you have given me and, most of all, for your love and grace in Jesus Christ.
Help me to learn the real meaning of respect as You want me to know it and to show it. Give me the desire to respect and honor You, by showing respect to my family, friends and neighbors. Help me to teach others, by example, the importance of showing respect to You. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
When problems arise, call to Me and I will answer you. God Promises He will answer us in our troubles
In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me. – (Psalm 86:7)
We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.
