That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.– Ecclesiastes 12:13 (NLT)
Our Heavenly Father, King of kings and Lord of lords,, today I humbly come to You ready to receive Your favor, grace and mercy. I cast my cares on You. I cast my questions on You. I put my hope in You, knowing that You will bring me to a flourishing finish.
You art our portion, our God, our Father. You are more than father and mother to those who trust You. You loved us with a tender pity that never fails or wearies. Encompass us with Your guardian care, and realize in us Your highest purposes. Abba Father, never let me forget the intense joy that accompanies being a Christian. Turn my tears to laughter, my sorrow to dancing, and let me spread my delight to everyone. Help me know that I’m on the right track, dear God. Let me know that what I am trying to do pleases You. Keep me ever in Your care.
Give me spiritual understanding as I read Your Word so that I have the strength to stand firm against the devil. Help me to keep my eyes on You and to look to You for direction and wisdom. May my life shine brightly for You and may others see Christ at work in me through my words and deeds. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
If you confess your sins, I will be faithful to forgive and cleanse you. God promises that He will forgive and cleanse us
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – (1st john 1:9)
The simple heart that freely asks in love, obtains.
