Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. Psalms 51:1-2 (NLT)
Dearest loving gracious Father, how majestic You are. How mighty. How infinite. You are worthy of all my praise and worship! Today I declare that I trust You. I trust Your faithfulness. I trust Your goodness. I know that You are working things out in my favor and in Your timing. I declare that through faith and patience, I will inherit every promise You have for me. Right now I lift my heart to You. I declare that You are worthy to be praised, and Your worth doesn’t change because of my circumstances. I will bless You in the midnight hour knowing that You are good, and You have victory and freedom in store for me. Thank You for choosing me before I was ever born. Thank You for knowing me and revealing Yourself to me. I trust that You are working in my life today, even when I can’t see it. I stand in faith knowing that You have a mighty plan for me.
Loving Father, thank You for Your infinite love for me. I confess that I have been the one that has stumbled. I am to blame for rebelling against You. I have ignored my relationship with You. I have made other things in my life more of a God to me than You. Forgive me. Today, I choose to follow You. Today I put away those things that cause me to stray and commit myself to following You. Forgive me when I don’t appreciate all that I have. Too often I look at the things I don’t have, rather than at the things I do have. Thank You, Lord, for all the blessings You shower upon me. Be merciful to me. Forgive me for all my wrongdoing. Help me, through Your love and grace, live for You. Help us this day to improve our family relationships by strengthening our commitment to one another and to You. Help us to communicate clearly to one another and learn to listen to what each other is saying. Then help us be Christ-like in all we do. May our family be an example to others.
Father, in a world where so much evil has been done in the name of extremism, help me to not abandon my sole dependence on you. In all I say and do, help me communicate the message of Jesus, who came to do more than merely improve peoples’ lives. Use me as a positive influence in the people and systems you have called me to work with. Point people to the saving grace that is found in Jesus through me. In the marvelous name of Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
My gentleness and My shield of salvation will enrich your life. God promises He will enrich our life
You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your gentleness has made me great. – (2nd Samuel 22:36)
Prayer wonderfully clears the vision; steadies the nerves; defines duty; stiffens the purpose; sweetens and strengthens the spirit.
