I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. Psalms 57:2 (NLT)
My dearest loving Father, , thank You for Your faithfulness even when I am unfaithful. Thank You for drawing me close to You when I feel discouraged. Today, I choose to lift up my eyes to You for You are my source of strength and help. You are the Author and Finisher of my faith. Today I choose to trust Your timing. I trust that my days are in Your hands. I ask that You breathe life into my circumstances as I give You the glory for everything. Father, I choose to live each day with peace and happiness. I choose to rely on Your strength and Your Word which guides my every step. I love You and thank You for loving and directing me .
Dear Prince of Peace, please forgive me. I don’t make peace my desire. I would rather be right. I would rather be in control. I would rather fight for my self-interests. I have such a hard time trusting that if I yield myself to peace everything will work out. Forgive me. Please help me follow You and Your commitment to peace. In times of darkness, help me not to dwell on what is wrong, but turn my mind to all I have to be thankful for. Help me to build daily on my heritage by honoring You in all I do. May I not take lightly the heritage that You have given me. When circumstances feel overwhelming, when I wonder how things will turn out, may I put my full confidence in you and you alone. May I trust you with the future, knowing that you are eminently and uniquely trustworthy, and that you want what is best for me.
Oh God of Exodus and Exile, of Cross and Resurrection, of Creation and new Creation, we thank you for your history of faithfulness. We thank you for the many ways you have worked for and through your people. We thank you for what you have done and are doing in our lives. Oh Lord, do a new thing in your church! Do a new thing in our lives! Help us have eyes to see what your Spirit at work. Help us to let go of anything that keeps us from participating in your will being accomplished. Let us have eyes to see and hearts to follow, we pray. Help me, dear Lord, to hope in you. All praise be to you, O Lord, because you are my Hope, my Savior, and my God. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
I have raised you up with Christ to sit in heavenly places. God Promises He Will Raise Us to Sit in Heavenly Places
Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. – (Ephesians 2:5-6)
Prayer honors God, acknowledges His being, exalts His power, adores His providence, secures His aid.
