When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, ‘I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.’ And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.- Psalms 32:3-5 NLT

I choose to honor You with every gift and every talent. Show me how to sharpen my skills in a way that always brings glory and honor to You.
Father, I confess that I hurry through life and don’t take the time to pour out my heart to You. I do so much on my own. My mind runs wild with worries and fears, Lord. I have done wrong, and I need Your forgiveness. Accept my apologies, God, and create in me a new heart. Father, I want that to change. I long for a deeper walk with You. Help me today to trust more. Help me sense Your loving presence and share with You from the depths of my heart. Thank You Lord for what You did for me by dying on the cross. Help me to represent You today with a new fervor and drive so that others will have no doubt as to what I believe. Help me to challenge my family and Christian friends to join me in standing tall for You.
Lord, thank you for the hope of the future. Thank you for the vision of a time when you will wipe away our tears, when death and pain will be no more. Though we are not yet in that time, we also thank you for the ways you comfort us now. Your presence and love sustain us and encourage us when we are hurting. Help us, dear Lord, to be to others as you are to us. May we learn to wipe away every tear. May we open our hearts to those who grieve, offering genuine love and faithful presence, not shallow words or easy answers. Use us, Lord, to bring your comfort to those who are mourning. Through Jesus Christ, we say this prayer. Amen
