Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
Dearest loving Father, thank You for all of Your blessings in my life. I declare today that You are good and thank You for Your mercy. I set my heart and mind on You and ask that You have Your way in me. Help me to love You perfectly and keep me close to You. Lord, thank You for making me strong in You. I trust that You are working in my life, even in the midst of the storms. Thank You for a new season of blessing in You.
Heavenly Father, indeed, our world is broken, shattered, and divided in this world. We see this in so many ways, vividly in the tensions and conflicts between racial and ethnic groups. We feel the pain of our splintered world when we hear words of racial hatred or witness acts of racially motivated violence. We sense that things in our world are not right when structures and systems invisibly push people down because of their race. We cry out to you, for ourselves as well as for our brothers and sisters, asking you to save us and restore us. We need you to gather us up in Christ. We need your justice, your love.
O Lord, may your vision of reconciliation become my vision as well. May it guide and shape all that I do, especially in my leadership today. Thank you, dear Lord, for the plan you have made for the fullness of time. Thank you that one day you will unite all things in Christ. Thank you for ways this reconciliation has begun even now. Thank you for calling us to share in your healing, gathering work. In bad times, please be my strength; in good times, celebrate with me, Lord. Thanks for being with me, doing so much for me, and giving so much to me. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, who is interceding for me before you, I pray. Amen
I have even numbered each hair on your head. God promises He knows us, He knows our frame
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:29-31)
God has no greater controversy with His people today than this, that with boundless promises to believing prayer, there are so few who actually give themselves unto intercession.
