The LORD mocks the mockers but is gracious to the humble.– Proverbs 3:34 (NLT)
Dearest loving Father, thank You for Your grace, favor and mercy upon my life. I praise You today because You are good. I receive Your truth by faith and rise up to walk in my calling. I know that You are going before me to prepare the way as I walk in Your favor all the days of my life. Lord, I thank You for working Your eternal glory in me. I cast my cares on You, knowing that my trials and troubles are temporary.
It is my prayer today that I be content no matter what I face today knowing that You are my Savior and Lord and that You are with me in all circumstances. May I be a leader of my family showing them how to be content in You through every situation, good or bad, that we may face. May I learn to stand up for what the scriptures have taught me and be a shining light honoring You. Remove from me a malicious and gossiping nature, Lord. Fill me with praise and joy and spiritual thoughts. Let my words bless others with kindness and love. I praise Your name today that, through faith, I can know You and that You will give me the wisdom to live my life today honoring You in all that I do.
The days are certainly dark, Lord. The clouds are closing in, and there are times when no light can be seen at all. Help me to remember that You are here, O God, and that the light which never fails will one day shine forth. Help me today to conquer every fear that I may face in my life. Give me the desire to seek You first and to lay at Your feet every fear that comes my way. Thank You for Your eternal blessing on my life today and always. In Jesus’ mighty name, I Pray, Amen
I bind up the brokenhearted and I will comfort all who mourn. God Promises He will heal brokenhearted and comfort those who mourn.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn. (Isaiah 61:1-2)
I prayed fifteen years for the conversion of my oldest brother. When he seemed to be getting further and further away from any hope of conversion, I prayed on.
