I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.– John 16:33 (NLT)
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to me. Thank You for peace even in the midst of the storms of life. I know that You are with me, and I can stand strong because You will always lead me into victory. Abba Father, help me to aspire, that my life may tend toward the ideal. May I be persuaded that I cannot be that which I do not possess, nor can I live in that which I do not know. Help me to put the best in what I do, that I may not feel I have failed, even though it may not seem to be a success.
Lord God, help us to discover how we can glorify you through our work. Teach us more about what this means. Transform our speaking and our acting, so that we might offer our work to you as a sweet, acceptable offering. As we honor you through our work, may we also enjoy your presence and pleasure. I can get sidetracked from the really important things, Lord. Help me to remain steadfast concerning Your work and Gospel. Set my priorities as You would have them..
Help me today dear Lord, to use the abilities that You have blessed me with for Your glory. May all those that I meet see Christ through me. Enable me to encourage and help my family members and friends to use their God-given abilities to serve and honor You. Help me to grow in You and be mature in my Christian walk. Thank You that we know beyond any doubt that when we become Your child that You call us to be Your representative. May we represent You today in such a way that we bring glory and honor to Your name. I pray in the name of Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.
You will find safety in My everlasting arms. God Promises that we can find safety in His arms
The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, “Destroy”. (Deuteronomy 33:27)
Look, as a painted man is no man, and as painted fire is no fire, so a cold prayer is no prayer.
