“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:8-9
My dearest loving Father, I come humbly before You today. I give You my past, present and future, knowing that You will redeem my life. I release those who have hurt me. I choose forgiveness so I can be free to move forward in the path You have for me. Thank You for peace and rest as I put my trust in You. Today I declare that You are my King. I declare that You are faithful. I proclaim that my faith and trust is in You, knowing that You have a good plan in store for my future. Lord, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. Thank You for restoring my soul and leading me beside still waters. Today, I recommit my life afresh and anew. Help me follow Your commands and leading in every area of my life.
Loving Father, I know that I don’t ask You for wisdom like I should. And when I have asked, I have often ignored You. Forgive me Lord. I know I need Your wisdom for this life and I ask that You would give it to me. Then, Holy Spirit, guide me, direct me, empower me to do what Your wisdom dictates. From this day forward, Lord, help me to praise You in new ways. Lead me to a deeper relationship with You through Christ Jesus. Shed Your light upon me, that I might know You better. Lord, You are the giver of all wisdom so I pray today that You will give me the wisdom I need to train my family. Help me to show my family by the way I live my life and by my actions what it means to love the Lord with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our minds.
Lord Jesus, thank you for calling us to follow you. Thank you for the privilege of being your disciples. Thank you for helping us to see our whole lives differently, from the perspective of your kingdom. Help us, Lord, to see our work as you see it. Give us a fresh vision for how our work matters in your kingdom. May we offer to you all that we do at work, for your purposes and your worship. No matter what our career, may we discover that we are first and foremost your disciples, your followers. To you be all the glory! In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
All things to ultimately work for your good for those who are the called according to His purpose. God promises to work all things together for good
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose– (Romans 8:28)
If God doesn’t want something for me, I shouldn’t want it either. Spending time in meditative prayer, getting to know God, helps align my desires with God’s.
